The Making of Muddy Beds

One of the many challenges facing creation geologists is the immense amount of time that is supposedly represented within the Earth’s sedimentary rock record. While some sedimentary rocks are known
to originate from high-energy processes, such as conglomerates and many sandstones, others, such as limestone and shale, are said to require long periods of relatively low-energy conditions in order for them to accumulate.
